The Galleria is the largest shopping mall in the entire state of Texas and the most popular mall in the Houston metropolitan area. With more than 400 upscale stores and restaurants and about 2.4 million square feet of space - including Gucci, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Houston's only Nordstrom store - the massive indoor mall is a popular destination for Houstonians and tourists to the area alike, attracting an estimated 24 million visitors each year. The mall features a skating rink that is a favorite with families and has two Westin hotels popular with out-of-town visitors.
